From Crailsheim to Kiribati
For the Kiribati Health Systems Strengthening Project, YessPharma GmbH shipped €0.6 million of medical equipment halfway around the world — direct procurement with a government, funded by the World Bank.
Kiribati is one of the most remote nations on Earth: 33 islands scattered across three and a half million square kilometres of Pacific Ocean, about as far from Germany as geography allows. Which is precisely why the Ministry of Health needed a partner who treats distance as a logistics parameter, not an excuse.
Under the World Bank–funded Kiribati Health Systems Strengthening Project, YessPharma GmbH delivered €0.6 million of medical equipment to the Republic of Kiribati in 2024 — working in direct procurement with the government, one of the engagements that also reflects our standing as a US federal contractor and partner to institutions worldwide.
The photographs show the unglamorous truth of global health logistics: container after container, packed to the centimetre in Germany, sealed for a sea voyage across half the planet. Somewhere on those pallets sat a hand-written note our team added — "From Crailsheim to Kiribati, with love."
Every device arrived. That sentence is short because the work behind it was not.
